This item is not dish washer safe.

• Please use this as it is intended to ensure longevity and prevent damage.

• This is stainless steel so it should not rust under normal conditions however please wash and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of a food safe oil or wax such as mineral oil, butcherblock oil, or a food safe wax. Wipe away excess. The product I use is called Axe Wax. I do not use vegetable oil or peanut oil for health and safety concerns.
